Local artists; businesses to be recognized at annual Fall Arts Luncheon

Jazz in June and Douglas Shaw Elder, Norman artist, will be recognized for their economic impact to the arts community at the annual Fall Arts Luncheon, hosted by the Norman Chamber of Commerce.

The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at The Studio of Sooner Theatre from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Norman Arts Council will also recognize Brandon Kistler, Businessperson in the Arts; Little Guys Movers, Business in the Arts; Norman Veterans Center, Nonprofit in the Arts; and Nancy McClellan, Special Recognition Award.

The yearly luncheon highlights the important relationship between the arts and business communities through awards given by the Norman Chamber’s Business & Arts Committee and the Norman Arts Council.
