Grow Your Business Summit - April 18on
Moore Norman Technology Center will host a first-time Grow Your Business Summit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 18 at the South Penn Campus located in south Oklahoma City. The cost is $39 with lunch included and registration is available online at mntc.edu/growyourbusiness.
This one-day program is designed to focus on the growth and education of business owners and administrators from start-up to maturity. The day is divided into morning and afternoon sessions with training that ranges from employee education and safety to digital trends in business and marketing. Participants can personalize their day and hear from seasoned professionals offering techniques and advice related to issues they can face in daily operations. There is also a passport program through vendor stations for participants to have a chance to win prizes.
Senior Manager of Human Resources at Avara Pharmaceutical Services Pam Maguire is the morning keynote speaker and will share insight through her presentation "Creating Intention." The afternoon keynote speaker is Retired Brig. Gen. Ben Robinson who will share his presentation “Keep It Simple Leadership.”
Elective learning sessions include:
- Digital marketing strategies and trends
- Free Google tools to move your business ahead
- Organizational leadership and goal-setting
- Process improvement and productivity
- Employee training and safety

The Grow Your Business Summit addresses modern challenges business deal with by providing education, resources and networking that empower business to break through barriers,” said Business Development Center Assistant Gina Bertoletti.
In addition to MNTC trainers and business coordinators providing training there are also guest presenters delivering presentations such as Paige Cahill, a national speaker for Google’s “Get Your Business Online” will present “Grow Your Business Online! Grow, Get Found, and Succeed Online.”
Eyrn Tribble, owner and president of DCS Planning will present “Business Continuity: Grow Strength in Your Organization.” Carley Bakker, CEO and founder of Reputation Management-Carley Bakker will present “Online Reputation Management is Changing Your Business: Are you Ready?”
Sean Conrad of RadVine Marketing will present “Maximizing Today’s Top Digital Trends” and CEO of Levant Technologies Stacy Eads will present “Best Networking Practices: Shaking Hands with Your Goal.”
Other sessions include: “It’s All About the Process,” “Fun & Effective Training for Your Employees,” “Stress-free Productivity” and “Internships Are The New Interview.”
Bertoletti said, “Business also have the opportunity to connect with valuable resources specific to their needs. H.R. specialist NextTep, Moore and South OKC chambers, S.C.O.R.E. and SHRM are a few industry leaders that will be on-site during the event.”
