2019 Norman Chamber Washington DC Fly-In

on January 7, 2019

Please mark your calendars and reserve your spot on our 2019 Norman Chamber Washington D.C. Fly-In scheduled for Monday, March 4 through Wednesday, March 6.

The Chamber’s annual DC Fly-In is Norman’s opportunity to reinforce its priorities at our nation’s capital. By joining other community leaders by attending and sponsoring this trip, local leaders can impact legislation that affects our community. The agenda includes meetings with our Oklahoma congressional delegation, a nightcap reception, and other briefings and tours depending on availability of organizations and annual priorities.
Trip details and reservation information are below.
Flight:
Chamber staff and a large portion of trip attendees will take American Airlines nonstop flight to Reagan International Airport (DCA) on March 4 at 6:55 a.m. (Flight #4593) and Southwest Airlines’ nonstop flight back to Oklahoma on March 6 at 3:25 p.m. (flight #723). The total round-trip price is currently approximately $270.
Transportation:
Since DCA is so close to the hotel, we will not have formal transportation to and from the airport. Republic Bank & Trust has generously offered to contribute towards our shuttle service to our Hill meetings on March 5.
Accommodations:
The Chamber staff will be staying at the W Washington DC (515 15th St. NW) where a block of 12 guest rooms have been reserved for $390/night per single-bed room or $410 per double-bed room. To book at this rate, click here.
The block will be reserved under Norman Chamber of Commerce and is first come, first served. Also, there are more economical options available, including Club Quarters Hotel which is approximately 10 minutes walking distance to the W Washington DC.
