21st Annual Public Safety Awards Banquet Scheduled

on November 14, 2018

Norman Crime Stoppers is pleased to announce its 21st Public Safety Banquet will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at the Conference Center at NCED, located at 2801 E. State Highway 9.

Awards will be presented to outstanding public safety personnel from the following agencies:

Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office, Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, EMSSTAT-Norman Regional Health System, Norman Fire Department, Norman Police Department, and the University of Oklahoma Police Department.

The Wayne Martin Memorial Award will also be presented by the Mary Abbott Children’s House—Child Abuse Response & Treatment Team. In addition to our public servants, two hardworking high school students whose parents serve in one of the aforementioned organizations will be awarded Crime Stoppers Memorial Scholarships.

The evening serves to honor the courageous men and women who dedicate every day to keeping our community safe and healthy. The Crime Stopper’s Banquet is the only annual recognition ceremony commending these local heroes for going above and beyond the call of duty and your generous sponsorship will help decrease the cost for public safety officers to attend the banquet. For your sponsorship, your business will receive recognition in the Chamber’s e- Journal as well as in the event program that night.

We sincerely hope that you will again join us for this wonderful event celebrating those who are always working to make our community a better place to live. Please reserve your table no later than Tuesday, Jan. 17, with Tonja McCawley at (405) 410-6052 or tonja@normancrimstoppers.org with any further questions you may have.
