2009-2010 Greenovation Committee Goals

Committee as a whole:
•    Implement Green Sticker program
•    Communicate and collaborate with city on green issues/events
•    Promote green meetings within the city of Norman and metro area
•    Recruit a representative from schools (NPS, OU and MNTC)
•    Hold series of green open houses at local businesses
•    Complete Green directory project
•    Explore a mentorship program

Recycling sub-committee:
•    Continue promotion of Business Recycling
•    Lead effort to raise money of capital costs of recycling carts for city events

Conservation sub-committee:
•    Create a consortium of business who can be used as ‘green’ resources
o    Develop a ‘green team’ to consult with businesses interested in going green
o    List resources on Chamber website (Greenovation Committee page)
