First Liberty Bank Breaks Ground in Normanon
First Liberty Bank broke ground on their new branch at 3400 24th Avenue NW in Norman, OK on Friday, March 30, 2018. According to Cullin Faison, Norman Market President, the projected completion date has been set for Summer of 2019. The temporary bank is already open for business and their first walk-in customer, Taylor Moore, was on hand to help with the celebratory ground breaking.
Three of the four founders of First Liberty Bank were on hand to turn the dirt on their first branch site and included. Coach Barry Switzer, Hunter Miller, and Joey Root.
Scott Martin, Norman Chamber President, served as master of ceremonies. Joey Root, First Liberty Bank President & CEO/Founder, gave the twelve-year old banks history and introduced Cullin Faison, the Norman Market President. Faison introduced his bank staff and conveyed his excitement and honor to be a part of bringing the community and business development bank to his home town of Norman.
