Norman Specialty Hospital (NSH) is a 50 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). We are a facility that provides extended

care for medically complexed acutely ill patients. We provide highly specialized medical care and rehabilitation in a beautiful and spacious facility. Care is delivered to patients whose conditions have stabilized beyond the need for intensive care, but whose needs may be too demanding for traditional rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care. Patient at Norman Specialty Hospital can expect an extended stay averaging 25 days. A wide variety of services and treatment plans are available in a warm and responsive environment. A

multi-disciplinary treatment team is available to every patient.

Patients and families will have a Case Management team member to assist them with daily needs and discharge planning. Chaplain services are also available. Patients are seen daily by

Physicians and 24 hour nursing care is provided. Specialized wound care, and respiratory care are provided as well. Every patient is evaluated by a Registered Nurse Liaison to ensure that they meet admission criteria according to Insurance and Medicare prior to admission.
